MESI ABPI MD
The WORLD'S FASTEST Ankle-Brachial Index
Measurement of ABI in 1 MINUTE
1 minute measurement
Regulated inflation and deflation of the cuffs within one minute provides a risk-free measurement, eliminating human error and changes in blood pressure which occur even over a short period of time.
As the 3-cuff measurement is completely simultaneous, there is no need for rest time.
ACCURATE in case of severe disease
Using oscillometry and volume plethysmography, MESI ABPI MD provides reliable results even in patients with severe disease. Thanks to an improved error detection system, MESI ABPI MD will alert the operator to any irregularities which have occurred during the measurement process instead of providing a falsely negative or positive result. Even with the absence of oscillations, the device will analyze the pulse waveform and warn the operator about the presence of severe PAD.
BLOOD PRESSURE measurement
This is not just a medical device for Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI); this is a medical device for the simple, objective and accurate measurement of ABI and blood pressure. The expertly developed MESI ABPI MD has two measurement modes:
- Simultaneous measurement of the left ABI, the right ABI, blood pressure and heart rate.
- Stand-alone measurement of brachial blood pressure and heart rate.
Therefore, MESI ABPI MD should be used as a screening tool on patients in cardiovascular risk group visiting every primary healthcare facility.
PULSE VOLUME Recording
In addition to Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) measurement, MESI ABPI MD provides Pulse Volume Recording (PVR), which is a waveform interpreted by pattern recognition. Combining both the ABI and PVR represents the best practice in evaluating the presence and severity of Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD).
Report PRINT OUT
MESIresults computer software supplements the measurement of ABI and provides user-friendly documentation of the results. It provides a secure database for your results and a detailed measurement analysis, along with the pulse waveform interpretation.
The measurement report can be equipped with your facility’s information, printed out, archived as PDF or exported for further research.
